This Privacy Policy explains how Maritza Bermudez Alonso collects, uses, and protects information through the author website and this experiment.
Information Collected
If you join the reader waiting list, the site collects your email address and signup source. If you use the contact form, the site collects your name, email address, selected subject, and message so Maritza can review and respond to it.
How Information Is Used
Email addresses are used to send meaningful updates about The Crystal Princess series, such as launch updates, behind-the-scenes notes, worldbuilding, cover reveals, and early reader opportunities. Contact-form information is used only to read and respond to the message you send.
Sharing Information
Personal information is not sold. Information may be processed by service providers that help run the website, including Vercel for hosting, Kit for newsletter subscriptions and delivery, and Google services for contact-message delivery and supporting reader-list administration.
Newsletter Signup
When you choose to subscribe through this website, the private newsletter system stores your email address, the newsletter you selected, the signup page, and the date and version of your consent. Google Firebase provides the database and signup protection; Kit processes confirmation and newsletter delivery. New subscribers must confirm their email address. Subscribing here joins only Maritza Bermudez Alonso’s newsletter. Other newsletters require a separate choice.
The signup form uses Google reCAPTCHA to protect against automated abuse. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
Email Choices
Use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter email to stop that newsletter. A record of consent and withdrawal may be retained to respect your choice and prevent unwanted mail.
You can ask to be removed from the reader list at any time through the unsubscribe request form or by emailing maritzabermudezalonso@gmail.com.
