Author & storyteller

I’m Maritza.

I’m an independent author and publisher, and fantasy is where my imagination feels most at home.

After years of writing behind the scenes, I’m sharing the worlds I’ve carried with me. I’m drawn to strong women, complicated love, questions of identity, and the choices that change a life.

The Crystal Princess

The story that came back.

The Crystal Princess is my debut fantasy series. It follows a hidden heir and a royal guard forced to question the loyalties that shaped her.

The Crystal Princess began the way many great stories have: as fanfiction.

Sixteen-year-old me wrote it on fanfiction.net in the time between helping my family, doing chores, and trying to survive what felt like an eternal high school sentence.
